Creating a learning platform for refugee children in Jordan
The English Education Program was started to nurture the dreams of refugee children who lack educational opportunities. Our mission is to educate refugee children in English, while also providing them the chance to learn about different environments and cultures in the world. Our program strives to provide opportunities for everyone, and we firmly believe that our first step to such is through education.
Our program teaches refugee children through a personalized English Curriculum.
The English Curriculum consists of its basic linguistics, centered around familiarizing English elements through Arabic concepts. It uses fun learning techniques such as songs, stories, hands-on stations, virtual activities, and interactive games so that the children can enjoy this learning experience. We cover letter pronunciation, combining sounds, spelling, and vocabulary with more traditional learning techniques such as repetition, bookwork, and tests as well. Our team intertwines these two elements of teaching so that we can maximize effectiveness in their learning journeys. This program will support effective learning among refugee children so they can be equipped with the education needed for leading brighter futures.
